Thought I’d share the card I made for my Mom for Mother’s Day. She loves hummingbirds and this Layered Hummingbird die from Simon Says Stamp is just gorgeous!
I used a combination of dies from my stash on this simple card. The Sunny Studio Fancy Frames Oval Dies provided an elegant way to showcase the beautiful hummingbird. I colored this layered die with Copics. I die-cut flowers using the HoneyBee Stamps Lovely Layers Dianthus Dies which I inked with Distress inks. The sentiment is from the HoneyBee Stamps This One’s For The Girls Stamps.
A few flat back gems and some patterned paper from my stash finished it off. I love how quickly and easily this came together and the smile on my Mom’s face yesterday was just priceless!
