I hope everyone had a wonderful Christmas! Today I’m sharing a card featuring the adorable new Puppy Love Stamps that will be available in the upcoming Sunny Studio new release!
I started this card by cutting 2 strips of patterned paper from the Subtle Grey Tones Paper and adhering a strip to the top and bottom of an A2 card base. The top strip is 1/2″ x 5 1/2″ and the bottom strip is 1” x 5 1/2″. (This saves on paper since I have a wide cardstock piece on the card front)
Next, I die-cut a piece of white cardstock using the Slimline Scalloped Frame Dies and cut the piece to 5 1/2” long. I inked it with Spun Sugar and Saltwater Taffy Distress inks and splattered a little watered down white acrylic paint with a paintbrush. I matted this piece on gray cardstock and adhered it to the card front approximately 3/8” from the top edge of the card and slightly overlapping the paper pieces.
I die-cut white glitter cardstock using a Heartstrings Border Die and adhered it to the bottom of the inked cardstock piece. I stamped a sentiment from the Lovey Dovey Stamps in gray ink, die-cut it using the coordinating dies and adhered it to the center of the inked cardstock.
I stamped the images from the Puppy Love Stamps on Neenah Classic Crest 80lb solar white cardstock, colored them with Copics and die-cut them using the coordinating dies. To finish, I die-cut hearts using the Stitched Heart 2 Dies from white cardstock, inked them with Tattered Rose Distress ink and heat embossed them with clear embossing powder for a little shine.
