So Much Snail Cuteness!

October 25, 2019 in Gerda Steiner Designs - No Comments

Happy Friday! Gerda Steiner Designs has this adorable new Holiday Snail stamp set and it’s SO SO CUTE!! I think the “belated” sentiment with this is just too funny! Perfect for anyone who runs out of time to finish up those Christmas cards before Christmas Day! I’ve been there…more than once…

I started by stamping the adorable little snail and masking the image before inking a soft pink background with Spun Sugar distress ink. I inked a Tim Holtz stencil over the area with Worn Lipstick distress ink.

Before coloring the image with Copics, I stamped the sentiments separately with Peacock Feathers distress ink and again with Versamark ink and heat embossed each with clear embossing powder. I like to do this before investing a lot of time in the coloring just in case I stamp a sentiment crooked or make a mess with the embossing powders.

I added die-cut snowflakes heat embossed with pink sherbet Wow! embossing powder for a little sparkle and shine. I just LOVE this cute snail!

Hope you have a great weekend and thanks so much for stopping by! See you again soon!
