Happy Friday! I’ve got a cute and simple card today using the adorable new Gerda Steiner Designs “Pumpkin Bear” stamps!
I thought I’d use a bit of a different autumn color scheme on this and I often turn to Pinterest for inspiration, so I searched for pumpkins and found a fabulous photo of Fairytale and Jarrahdale pumpkins. Since teal is my favorite color, the inspiration photo was perfect!
I started by die-cutting the white background panel and inking a Hero Arts stencil with Scattered Straw and Fossilized Amber distress inks. I then heat embossed the sentiment from this set and die-cut a strip of the patterned paper at the bottom. Love it when I find a paper in my stash that perfectly ties everything together!
I wrapped a piece of twine around the panel, tied a bow and matted the panel on a teal cardstock.
I stamped the bear first, masked it, and then stamped the pumpkins. I colored the images with Copics and fussy cut them out. Since it was nearly impossible to fussy cut the fringe on the scarf, I glued pieces of black embroidery floss to the back of the scarf and trimmed it down.
To add a little dimension, I adhered the stamped images with foam adhesive.
I just love this cute little bear!
Hope you have a fantastic weekend and thanks so much for stopping by!
