Rawr!

May 18, 2019 in Create a Smile - No Comments

Happy Saturday! Sharing a card today using the Fur Real stamp set from Create a Smile. I’ve been itchin’ to play with these lions for quite awhile. Just love them.

I created a little jungle scene here with a few new products that I picked up recently mixed with a few older products in my stash. For the background, I stamped a piece of kraft cardstock using the Tribal Stripes Bold prints stamp from Hero Arts. I then used a few Tim Holtz dies on a piece of brown specialty paper behind the lion. I die-cut both edges with the Sizzix Tim Holtz torn notebook edge die and then die-cut the center of the strip with a Sizzix Tim Holtz Retro Repeat thinlits die. I backed it with black cardstock so it would show up on the background.

I inked a few fern die-cuts with Shabby Shutters and Olive Green Distress inks and heat embossed the sentiment from the stamp set. I then stamped and masked the cute little lion on the rock, colored him up with Copics and popped him up with foam dimensional tape.

Hope you’re having a great weekend and thanks for stopping by!
