What personal data I collect and why I collect it
When visitors leave comments on the site, WordPress collects the data shown in the comments form, and also the visitor’s IP address and browser user agent string to help spam detection.
I do not use the information submitted through the contact form (name and email address) for marketing purposes nor do I give that information to any third party.
Embedded content from other websites
Articles on this site may include embedded content (e.g. videos, images, articles, etc.). Embedded content from other websites behaves in the exact same way as if the visitor has visited the other website.
This site uses the JetPack plug-in for traffic source information purposes to assist in providing relevant content to my visitors.
More information about what data is collected can be found under “WordPress.com Stats” on the JetPack website here:
How long I retain your data
If you leave a comment, the comment and its metadata are retained indefinitely. This is so I can recognize and approve any follow-up comments automatically instead of holding them in a moderation queue.
Contact form information is discarded after 6 months.
What rights you have over your data
If you have left comments, you can request to receive an exported file of the personal data I hold about you, including any data you have provided to me. You can also request that I erase any personal data I hold about you.
