Hero Arts August MMH kit

August 21, 2019 in Hero Arts - No Comments

Hi everyone! Sharing a card today using the August Hero Arts MMH kit. I’ve been a subscriber to this kit since May and I’ve really been impressed with the kits so far. I love how different this month’s theme is. I don’t have a lot of fantasy/medieval type stamps so this has been fun to work with and definitely out of my usual wheelhouse.

I purchased several of the add-ons to this kit starting with the Trefoil Bold Prints cling stamp that I heat embossed on the background panel. I love this print and I think it will work well with other themes too.

I die-cut the Medieval Flags die a couple of times from gray, black and a sparkly black cardstock and layered them slightly off-set to help the flag stand out from the background. I’ve also inked a portion of the flag with Dusty Concord Distress ink and then used the Stained Glass stencil inked with Seedless Preserves.

I colored the image from the main kit with Copics and used the coordinating die from the kit. The fleur-de-lis dies are also a part of the kit and I’ve die-cut them from a sparkly silver cardstock.

I finished the card by stamping and heat embossing a few sentiments from the kit.

I made this card for my husband’s birthday yesterday and I stamped the “Happy day of thy birth” sentiment inside. Too funny! Just love the sentiments with these stamps!

Hope you enjoyed and thanks for stopping by!
