Hi There!

Happy Friday! Have you seen the new Frogs stamps from Gerda Steiner Designs??

These have got to be my most favorite frog stamps EVER!! So cute!

We have frogs that hang out on our back patio (literally) all summer long, so when I saw this guy I knew I had to have him upside down. Ours are bright green, but I mixed it up a little and made this one an Amazon tree frog.

Pretty simple design here. I cut a white cardstock piece 4″ x 5 1/4″ and adhered it to the card base. I then inked a piece of white cardstock with Crushed Olive distress ink and splashed a little water on it. I cut it into 2 pieces measuring 1″ x 4″ and 2 3/4″ x 4″.

I inked a stencil from The Crafter’s Workshop with Peeled Paint distress ink and then spread Tim Holtz texture paste over the stenciled areas. It’s hard to see in this photo, but it gave it a wet look.

Hope you enjoyed my card today and I’ll be doing more with these frogs very soon!

Thanks for stopping by!
