Hi there and happy Friday! Today’s card features some cuteness from the new Neat and Tangled release, a little airbrushing and a few different types of embossing.
I started with cutting a piece of Neenah Classic Crest Solar White cardstock to 4″ x 5 1/4″ and die-cut a circle towards the center top of the cardstock with the Neat and Tangled Making Waves die. I set aside the interior circle that it cuts out and taped a Tim Holtz Bubble stencil across the cardstock. I airbrushed over the stencil with Copics in YG01 and YG23. You could also use sponge daubers and inks, but I usually find just the right colors in my Copics and airbrushing is too much fun!
I then placed dimensional tape along the outside edges of this white cardstock piece and matted it on a 4 1/8″ x 5 3/8″ piece of peach cardstock and adhered both to the white card base.
For the interior circular die-cut, I first airbrushed it with BG11, BG13 and BG49, and then embossed it with a Tim Holtz waves embossing folder and adhered it inside the circle cut out.
I stamped and die-cut an image from the Neat and Tangled Flamingo Floatie stamp set and colored it with Copics. I stamped this image a second time, colored the swimsuit with Copics and stamped a dots background stamp in versamark ink over the image. I heat embossed with Stampendous Blushing Pink embossing powder and then fussy cut around the swimsuit and adhered it to the original colored image.
I die-cut a small piece of Neenah cardstock with a pennant die from the My Favorite Things Blueprints 31 die-namics, colored it with Copic YG01, stamped a portion of a sentiment from the Flamingo Floatie stamp set and matted it on a colored piece of Neenah in Copic YG23.
To finish the card, I die-cut the Neat and Tangled Awesome die from teal cardstock, pressed it on a versamark ink pad and heat embossed with UTEE. Most of this sentiment is adhered to the center circle with very small pieces of dimensional adhesive.
I added a few sequins for a little extra shine.
I hope you enjoyed today’s card and have an awesome weekend!
Thanks for stopping by!
